THE PROBLEM
The dogs Regular vet recommended euthanasia.
We x-rayed the dog
Storm’s x-rays showed Severe Osteoarthritis in:
- Elbows and knee joints
- Back Ankylosis L1-L2, L-Sac joints and sciatica in hind legs.
Storm’s Treatment was the following:
An Intraarticular Hyaluronate injection into the left and right elbows, and into the left and right knee joints initially.
Storm also started to have laser two times a day for 2 weeks. After this treatment, the dog was up standing and walking again.
We will continue the laser therapy for another month doing the treatment twice weekly.
